The "Away From Home Tour" is set to begin on April 6 in Charleston, Illinois, and continue through early May hitting universities in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Massachusetts, and New York -- 25 in all.

Drake will be joined by fellow Canadian rapper K-OS and New York City-based band Francis & The Light.

In partnership with The Campus Connection Tour, Drake will promote the use of green technology through the use of biodegradable materials on his tour bus, as well as backstage at his shows. Drake has also vowed to create a tour rider contract that would be eco-friendly.

Two major performances on the tour will be at the New Orleans' Jazz & Heritage Festival, and Bamboozle.

Lil Wayne Filmed Nine Music Videos Over The Past Week

Lil Wayne got a little breathing room when his sentencing was delayed this week until March, but he made the best of what was to be his last week of freedom. He spent it working ... very hard. According to MTV.com, Weezy's been in overdrive, reportedly filming nine music videos in Miami over the past weekend. Director David Rousseau of Creativeseen said the rapper and his crew began filming at 9AM on Friday (February 5) and wrapped at 8AM on Super Bowl Sunday (February 7). He reportedly shot videos for "Da Da Da," "Knockout" and "Get a Life" from Wayne's recently-released rock album Rebirth, and an unreleased song from Wayne's forthcoming record, Tha Carter IV. "There isn't a title for it," Rousseau said of the unreleased song. "Honestly, I can't tell you too much about it. That was a complete secret. We had to kick everyone off the set for it. No photography, even their official photographer had to leave. That's under wraps. The album is still under production. It's a crazy song. "We shot some sh** from the [We Are Young Money compilation] album, we shot something from Tha Carter IV. Some stuff from Rebirth," he continued. "We knew what our deadline was. We're trying to get maximum coverage for Wayne. Most of the time we only shot Wayne's verses -- we'll finish the rest of the videos off in the next couple of weeks." Rousseau, who worked with Wayne in the past, said he was contacted by Cash Money Records' CEOs, Birdman and Slim, and given the task. Their mission is to keep the rapper visible while he's incarcerated, instead of him disappearing during the prison stint. "Cash Money said, 'This is our deadline. This is a hard deadline.' It was basically a 'Mission: Impossible' [scenario]: This is your mission if you choose to accept it. Everybody is on board because everybody knows what's at stake," he explained. "Unlike T.I. and some of these other guys that's disappeared while they were in, the point is to keep Wayne [visible] on TV and everything for whatever time he's in. There was a plan in action. Slim and Baby really could foresee that. He's at the height of his career, you can't let that momentum slip." In addition to the visuals shot by Rousseau, Wayne recently shot four in Los Angeles, one in Dallas, and has reportedly "been shooting" in Atlanta, too, said the report. In addition to the Cash Money/Young Money family, celebrities such as Juelz Santana, Yo Gotti and boxer Sugar Shane Mosley came out for the shoots. With an extension to his sentencing, Wayne might kick his work schedule into high gear, so don't be surprised if he shoots even more visuals.
